Senior Living FAQs
Do you have questions about senior living at The Wyndmoor of Marion in Marion, IN? Check out some of our most frequently asked questions.
How do I know if my loved one needs assisted living?
Deciding if your loved one needs assisted living can be challenging. Some common signs include difficulty managing daily activities such as dressing, bathing, or preparing meals, frequent falls or mobility issues, medication mismanagement, and a general decline in physical or mental health. If they are feeling isolated, lonely, or struggling with home maintenance, assisted living can provide the support they need while promoting independence. Our team at The Wyndmoor of Marion offers assessments to help determine if assisted living is the right option for your loved one.
Are there social and recreational activities available for residents?
We offer a full calendar of social and recreational activities tailored to our residents’ interests. These include scheduled outings, exercise classes, games, musical performances, and more, helping residents stay active and engaged.
Can family members visit?
Yes! Family members are encouraged to visit their loved ones and also to take part in activities and community events. Staying connected with loved ones is important for residents’ emotional well-being and their quality of life.
Can residents personalize their living spaces?
We encourage residents to make their apartments feel like home. Our beautiful living spaces can be personalized with their own furniture and decor to create a comfortable and familiar environment.
What is your dining experience like?
Our residents enjoy three nutritious, chef-prepared meals daily, with accommodations for dietary needs, including diabetic and low-sodium diets. Meals are served in our elegant dining room, and special menus are offered during holidays and events. In addition, snacks and beverages are available throughout the day.
What is Indiana’s Medicaid Waiver Program and how do I apply?
